Application Requirements
1. Non-Chinese citizens, physically and mentally healthy.
2. Have a high school diploma or equivalent, aged between 18 and 24.
3. Those who apply to teach in Chinese must reach the New Chinese Proficiency Test Level 4 (HSK4 180 and above).
4. Applicants for teaching in English must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL score of 69 or Duolingo 90 or the English taught certificate from school (Stamped with the official seal of the school)

2. Login to the online registration platform of Xi’an Shiyou University (website: https://xsyu.at0086.cn/student), select "Chinese Government Scholarship Program" and submit materials according to the system prompts.
3.Pay attention to the application system and registration email in time, and timely follow up the application fee, application progress, pre-admission and final admission information.
Note: 1) The registration fee is RMB 1000, which is non-refundable.

Application Materials
1. The first page of the passport.
2. Certificates of the highest academic qualifications. If the applicant is a current student,then must submit the pre-graduation certificate or enrollment certificate issued by current school.
3.Transcript. The scanned copy of the high school transcript, up to the most recent semester. If it is in a language other than Chinese/English, a Chinese or English translation must be provided and notarized.
4. Letter of recommendation. Two Letters of recommendation, written in Chinese or English.
5. Study plan in China. The study plan can only be written in Chinese or English, with more than 300 words.
6.Other academic ability certification materials.Obtained certificates/certificates of participation in social welfare activities, etc.
7. Proof of language ability, such as HSK certificate, IELTS or TOEFL or Duolingo certificate or official English teaching certificate.
